coilovers vs. lowering springs

RE: coilovers vs. lowering springs
i like coilovers better. the best way is the true coilovers, its all one piece, instead of the sleeves that slide over the shocks.but if you do a good set of sleeves, its not too bad. you can get passable sleeves on ebay for like 60 bucks, but they arent that good. try for the ground control. im not sure what they go for on ebay, but that is your best bet. if you have the money to spare, go for the tein basic or even the raceable tein super street. another decent full coilover setup is the tokico illumina R. check into those. if you are just going for a decent drop and some improvement in handling, the lowering springs are a lot simpler and better quality for the money.

RE: coilovers vs. lowering springs
I drive my "other car" like it should be driven, and I love the way it handles, so I went for Tokico Illuminas with H&R high rate 1.9" drop springs. I like that combination better that coilovers, since you can adjust the damping and ride without changing the height. Just personal preference.
