What i don't get is how a big brake kit can be illegal. How could you stop to fast?

 

Not illegal. just not DoT approved which means they didnt get the stamp from the DoT office. wherever they have to send it in when they market the product..So in states that dont have yearly inspection they dont have to worry.. but i live in PA where we are slowly catching up with the 20th century

 

I know that you have to go for Emissions, but when i went for one of my cars they didn't check anything but emissions.

 

Nah i have to get emissions on top of regular inspection.. Just more BS for the state to suck money our of us.. so now instead of 15 dollar inspection.. its 60 dollars every year to get both.. They check everything on inspection.. ride height/aftermarket parts .. rust/brakes/.. all working parts basically.. they failed me on old car for an ebrake cable.. car was auto
