update, installed different rack and pinion, the car definately drives better, but it still has a tendancy, at speed, to wanna take off on a tangent, so went to alignment shop , and it still has a little bit of that delay in action, then overreaction, i dont want to be installing the v-tec with this happening . so i guess maybe get brand new r&p from dealer, and after market poly bushings, i dont know yet. any ideas... bounce em

ebay should have a rack for way less than dealer. poly bushings are a great idea.

absolutly correct, i love polyuerathane and dont understand why manufacturers still use rubber, rubber is for_______, in my oppinion.
ebay not really an option for me. napa finnaly got my order today. and there is no comparison in the feeling of the joints and pinion gear, the new one is very stiff and will hold a possition, whereas the old r&p just kinda slop's around. i will have it installed here tonight and do a run to work and back for testdrive and update again.
