Ebay Coilovers
I have a 2000 Civic Ex Coupe. And my buddy gave me some coilovers he ordered off ebay for his car same make and model but he demolished it. I was wondering if I put these on my car would there be any long term damage done to my car. Again these would only be temp. until I get the money to get Skunk2 Camber Kits, and Skunk2 shocks and springs. So if you know if they will damage or not without a camber kit please let me know.

RE: Ebay Coilovers
they might blow your shocks and they might handle like crap.
it's a risk you take when you buy generic crap with unknown spring rates.
If you're planning on buying something better in the near future I woulnd't even waste my time installing that stuff now. You get what you pay for.

no one really knows how well that stuff works because no one is willing to try it. The may actually be good, but the low price scares people away. Just dont lower it too much and avoid bumpy roads

RE: Ebay Coilovers
welll....just like everything else in my measly life....this install is not going well.........every godamned bolt takes an hour to get out between rust and bullshi!t.......wd40 torches crowbars, u name it ive used it today. Basically 12 hours later and the fronts are on....went to do the rears and all hell broke loose........everything is rusted to hell and back. After i got the fronts on i went for a quick ride, mayb some of the bounciest things ive ever riden on. Like a F-350 with 40 inch tires on rocks.........i drove for 100 yards and on the way back the bounciness began to lessen, so im guessing (hoping) that with some time they wont be so godamned bouncy. wen the rears are on im sure that will help 2, its high in the back and low in the front so that doesnt help. Ill let you kno my final opinion 2morrow cuz i have to drive for an hour on them........if they stay this bouncy imma just say F it and get some lowering springs. Coilovers are the biggest pain in the @$$ to frigin adjust...im just realyl pissed now and not much else lol we'll see 2morrow if this was a huuuge mistake or not.........
