Default eg civic brake upgrades??

Hi guys, im pretty new to civic ownership, and its probably been asked before so if you guys have got a link to the asked question that would be great [sm=smiley20.gif]

but what are the possible upgrades using easily available, and affordableparts, so nothing like big wilwood setups, ive heard that DC2 stuff fits? is this true/worthwhile?

my brakes fade really bad, so a set of fast road pads would probably help, but i want to do something that will help in the future,

thanks a lot guys, and im loving civic ownership so far

cheers

tim

Upgrading the brakes can get pretty expensive especially if you are going to with a big brake kit (like in the 1k range). You can get a set of performance pads for about $50 online. I have Hawk ceramic pads on my car and they work great.

I think you call pull the brakes off an Integra (front and back). You could also do a 5 bolt conversion but then you will need new rims. However, I'm not positive if the Integra brakes that are 4 bolts are actually bigger than the Civic brakes but you can do a rear disc conversion if you use integra brakes. I think Si brakes will also work.
