Hi, I have a 94 civic coupe DX, and I am fixing it up, I have 17" wheels and tries on it, and a body kit, what my problem is, I am have a creeking noise coming from the drivers side front suspension, and also while I am driving, if I hit a bump or hole the car is all over the road, I am haveing a hard time keeping the front of the car steady, I was wondering if anyone knows what the problem I am having is? Please let me know

 

My front struts were leaking, and when I hit bumps in my car it rattled and squeaked, but I didn't lose control or anything like that. If you're exagerating though, it sounds like the problem I was having.

 

If you let go of the wheel, does the car pull to one side or the other?

 

Yeah it pulls to the left.

 

Could be a blown strut or a leaking strut like Ben suggested. Pull of the wheel and take a look to see if anything is obviously broken. If not, my money's on the strut.

could be any number of worn items, bushings, shocks, bad springs, ball joints, etc. especially since the parts may be 13 years old now. Take it to a shop and have them check it out, if they say it's gonna cost $1700 you can just leave but make sure you get a list of what's wrong.
