Some aftermarket competition springs are available for less than $150 a pair, but most of these only lower the car about an inch. Some good companies are OPM Motorsports, Koni, and Progress.

It all depends on the height you want to drop and how much your willing to spend. I put H&R springs on mine with stock shocks. It dropped the front 1.75 and the back 1.5" That way I don't HAVE to put a camber kit on it. )H&R makes the stock springs for Beamers and Benz's by the way.) My car rides better than it did with the stock springs. No excessive bouncing and it really helped the handling. You can get them on ebay $120-$130 shipped, and install should be pretty cheap. I know a guy that has a shop, and he did it for $50.00 Of course I'm sure eibach and all the rest are very good too, but you have to get a camber kit, and a good one will cost you $200.00 That's more than I paid for springs and install, plus I already scrape her and there. Any lower would be a biatch.
