Exclamation i decided to diy

ok so after some noob research i found doing the full progress coilovers wouldent be as hard as i thought being that ive never done this before so im asking everyone for any tips and tricks and any helpful insight ,or any other diys with lots and lots of pics.my car is a 2004 dx,value package and i will be installing full progress competition coilovers ,ingalls alignment kit progress rear swaybar any info would be nice thank you. ps i having a shop do my compliance bushings i dont have the tools.

rent the bushing tool! its free! but good luck, our cars are an ******* to work with.

^ yes i agree. took me 8 hours to install my lowering springs, and i have never work on suspensions before. grab a friend that knows how to do it or one to help you out, very useful. i think the 04 civic and the 99 civic suspensions are similar, i have a guide that i bookmarked that may help you out, i'll post it up when i get back home

cool man thanks and keep the info coming i cant get enough! and how far did you drop iwanna go low but i put after market tsudo 2''1/2 exhaust and its way to low to drop much it sucks cuz i just got it a couple of months ago i mite have to get rid of it for drop sake.

actually the seventh gen's suspension setup is radically different than the sixth gen the sixth gen has the double wishbone type suspension whereas the 7th gen uses the macpherson strut type.
