225/40/18 tire size what do you think? will that give it an aggressive stanced yet still be a safe size... input pl0x

225/40 is the correct tire for an 18" wheel on ur car. i cant say for sure but i'd atleast imagine that u wont have any rubbing issues with anything less than a 2" drop.

 

yeah, that'll be fine... just don't drop it more than 2 inches...

 

ya i dont plan on dropping it past 2 inches mayb 2 in the front 1.75 in the rear... but i really dont want to tuck

 

hmm i took a look at an 07 civic just like urs today, their actually lower than i thought they where. i'd recommend no more than a 1.75" drop for the front...2" drop and im pretty sure u'll be tucking the tire and could possibly rub.

 

ya its pretty low as it is... will there be a decent ammount of rubber around those 18s with the tire size i specified? ive never seen one that size, i know on my camaro i had 18s front 19s rear and had hardly any tire...very low profile

 

u shouldnt rub, its the same diameter as ur original wheels...when u get larger wheels u get a thinner profile so u dont throw off ur odometer.

 

ok cool...i just dont want them to pop if i hit a divet in the highway or something
