yes.

spring rates, linear vs progressive compression, and durability come to mind.
basically H&R's expertise is in suspension...skunk2 just makes everything. they make decent everything, but if you get the part from someone who specializes in that area, theres no competition.

very true nail, but i had on my ef del sol struts with skunk2 coilovers it rode awesome, very smooth, and it was as low as i could get them, the tops of my tires were tucked. but i had too much camber wear, and blew the shocks when i caught some air

depends on where you live

some areas have laws that say your headlights need to be a certain minimum height off the road

one of my friends went to go in for an emissions test and his rx7 was to low so he actually got a 2 year extension and didnt have to do the test hahaha
