well Take your shocks off and get some spring compressors and if you can easily move the shocks up and down with your hands with out having to force them in then your shocks are bad. Any after market springs with a diff spring rate that is different from the OEM struts will ruin the struts. Coilivers ESP. Some lowering srpings 2. I have some on my car but the ride feels exsactly like stock. Thats the ideal. but if you want the ability to adjust your cars ride height.. theres no away around getting a full coilover setup. You can get new struts and put whatever springs you have on them but its only a matter of time when those will go bad and the warentee doesent cover after market springs on the struts (strut warentee) so i would get some loweringsprings and and perhaps some koni struts or some strut thats designed to take the different spring rate.. and to behonest the price is no differnt than very good OEM shocks. I found that out 2 late tho.
