safe with just springs?
hey guys is it safe to keep stock coils and struts or whatever..
but use tein s tech springs?.. i only have like $200 and wanna lower my car
and are these official?.. and a good price

it's fine to put lowering springs on your stock shocks (the s-techs are advertised as being "designed for stock shocks"), but the shocks will blow out sooner than they would with the stock springs.
And just looking at the ebay link, I'd say it's legit.

Personally, I wouldnt spend $180 just to lower my car. I got my KYB shocks/struts/springs for $350. How long would it take you to save another $150? If its less than 6 months I would say wait and get a full set-up. Unless you aren't down with KYB. It will also save you from having to change them out twice. If I had to do it all again, a good suspension would be the first thing I spent money on.
I rocked some knock offs until I had the cash for a full set.
