Default suspension?

hi i was looking into upgrading my suspension from stock. cars info 97 honda civic ex. i dont really need an extreme makeover i was looking into just gettin springs and the tein s-techs look nice but i was wondering...

1. would ineed to replace anything else for that much of a drop like shocks or a camber kit ?
2. will they work just fine on stock set up?
3.or will it only work for a little while til i can upgrade?

i would like to stay completely stock and just use spring if i could. any help? thanks.

1. not for a drop of 1.5/1.0" or less
2. maybe, not that familiar with tein
3. not if you have a great alignment after the install.

Is you type s-tech in our search bar you will find about 50 threads talking about them, all the info you asked and more.

-You could possibly need a camber kit, some do and some dont..I didnt need one
-S-techs are designed to work with your stock struts, but If you want better performance, get aftermarket struts.

newbies don't know that and they never will.

they need to have a disclaimer when you first sign up for HCF that tells you use the search button before asking the same question that others have already gone over.

If it is asked so many times, maybe it would be worth a sticky to put all the infos in.

Regarding the camber part of the question, i've heard that you could adjust the camber using camber bolts or something. Anyone used them and could give comments ? Or is it better to get a full set of camber arms.
