You could put the stock rear springs back in. You could also put in-coil airbags in. Airlift makes a bunch of different ones.

There are typically 3 kinds of coilspring spacers on the market. One type fits between the bends of the coil and is not recommended AT ALL. It'll kill your ride and springs and they can pop out if you ever unweight the suspension enough.

A second type is a polyurethane puck that fits on top or on bottom of the coil and these don't really change your ride or spring life at all...just the ride height. I don't know if they make these for Civics. I've only seen them for Jeeps and they work pretty well. They have a groove that keeps them in place over the roughest roads. Google is your friend though. You may be able to find some that fit if you know your spring circumference.

The third type is similar to the second, but it's an Adjustable Coil Over Spacer, or ACOS, usually made out of aluminum and rubber/poly. These typically fit on top of the coil.

and all of which you have to tear the suspension out for, so might as well buy the proper springs with the desired ride height.

No idea. I actually misspoke. The diameter is usually the dimension used for fitment...not the circumference.
