today i was driving along and pulled into the parking lot where i was going and my trailing arm broke where it connects to the control arm so i need a new one the only problem is that my mechanic tells me that there are only oem ones available so ive decided i want to do a disc brake conversion but cant find a good one can somebody find me a conversion thats less than $400? otherwise im gunna just fork out the $250 for the oem trailing arm

 

have you checked ebay or Honda-Tech?

 

I got my trailing arms with disc brakes on ebay for about $250 including shipping. Came with lower control arms, toe adjustment arm and overall looked real good, no rust.

I haven't installed it yet, paying off the bills(soon this won't be a problem ), but I'm going to get them installed with new brembo drilled rotors and new trailing arm bushings.

 

the only one that i found on ebay looked not so reliable is there something i should be searching for some keyword or something and i'll check honda tech

Yes to both. You would also need SI rear brake lines. At least that's what my buddy is telling me. I have had a rear disc set-up sitting in my garage for about 6 months. I got the trailing arms for like $100, but it needed new everything except for calipers and the trailing arms itself..lol
