Default RE: Vibration?

ORIGINAL: rit14623

Possible causes of vibration when braking
1. warped rotors
2. wheels are out of alignment
3. tires are unbalanced

When was the last time you had brake work done? Machining down rotors is not a bad thing to do, also called "turning down rotors", unless they are machined beyond a minimum rotor width.
No one said it is bad to do, just that it will likely occur again with a thinner rotor, and probably sooner.

Replace your rotors and pads and bed as directed, you'll be fine.

It doesn't matter if your car is 10 years old or 10 days old, you can still have warped rotors.......
