ok... i lowered my car with tein s-techs. corrected the camber in the rear, spent about 3 hours getting the tires on the wheels that i had last year, put em on the car, drop it down, and the second i back it out, it starts rubbing. the rear is about one finger away from the fender. i allready did the baseball bat trick last year because it was rubbing, and i think just me correcting the camber in the rear was enough to make it rub. i have 17" enkei wheels and 215-40 tires. the front is about a finger away from rubbing but i couldnt really test it out to see if it would. do you people think if i replaced the tires with 205s it would stop rubbing? or should i just sell em and get black "spoon style" wheels?

 

I'd just go to 16's

 

downsize to 205-40's

 

i just dont wanna buy 4 new tires and end up having them rub still... so i might just get 15" black rota slipstreams.

 

nice^^^^^ there ya go.... plug 15's will ride a lot better than 17's

 

i have my teins and 17" wheels with 205/40..no problems at all,not even over bumps

..17" ride nice, i dunno why everyone says there ruff[&:]

 

+1 on the rota slipstreams, real nice wheels and lighter..also wont have to worry at all about rubbing or anything like that

 

hopefully ill be able to sell my 17s. but the slipstreams r a lot cheaper also, especially when i end up getting new tires every year.
