Hello, thanks for checking out my post.

I drive a 2003, manual, 4 cylinder, EX with almost 149,000 miles on it. I have began to notice an unsettling sound coming from what appears to be the transmission when at idle and in gear. It sounds like a grinding/clicking sound that increases in speed as the RPM rises. The sound stops all together when the clutch is pushed in and I can hear it begin as I let out the clutch and put power to the transmission. I can hear the sound when in all gears except reverse.

Just looking for any input on what may be causing the noise. If anyone has any further questions ask away and ill do my best to answer.
