Well, seems a bit slow on here, A little bummed, I like'em a bit livelier if I have a choice, but that's alright. I have seen the flashes of brilliance from people, but a lot of it seems ho-hum. I will say I like being proven wrong though.

I'd rather have a site without a bunch of OCD post forum addicts who think they're something because they have 14,000 posts.

To the OP, how long were you driving with a leaking slave cylinder? Maybe you were torturing your syncros for a while because the clutch wasnt fully disengaging.

How hard are you shifting to get it to grind? I mean, I can pretty well go through all the gears without using any of my syncros. Do they still grind if you double clutch?

i think my b18c4 does this actually will have to give it a check

Not really sure how long it was leaking. I was driving i went to shift and the pedal hit the floor. I then slammed it into first so i could move. Noticed the leak put some fluid in and drove it home. Replaced slave, bled it and it grinds 3rd only. If i double clutch or granny shift its fine or minimal grind
