i have a 99 civic ex with an automati transmission. i am looking for someone to recomend what to do. should i build the tranny and motor and boost my d-series, or should i just swap the motor for an integra ls motor and tranny? only problem is i want to keep my vtec!!! a little help please.

 

get a motor trans wiring harnes and ecu from 00 civic si

 

yeah, you can get a dohc vtec mtor, then it comes with the tranny. adn as far as i know, there are no affordable options for building up a honda auto tranny. ive seen where a few people tried, but its really expensive, everything is custom.

i dunno. id say 4-cylinder NA autos are no fun. my buddy has an s10 that chirps his 295 NT555s into second with an auto. it isnt fast, but it looks like it is.
