that looks like a code 70, but like kev said i don't think it exists

maybe it's a result of the flashing D4 light or something

This is a 99 DX with a tranny I bought used. It came out of a 98 EX. Shouldn't make a difference should it?

It has always seemed as if there is something locked on it. if that is the right thing to say. Not that it hasn't been running fine. But when in traffic, slowing down to 10mph or there abouts, when you speed back up it is like it shifts HARD. Could this be the lockup?
Also right now, in D4/D3 it stays in 3rd or 4th can't tell. But when moved down to D2 it will downshift into first and second.

Going to take it to Autozone and have them pull the codes. I'll post back in around 30minutes or more. Thanks for the help so far.

CEL code 70 and a blinking D4 light are redundant in indicating that the automatic transmission is throwing a trouble code. The next step is to pull the transmission code as you have done. D4 transmission code 8 (P0758) indicates a problem in the circuit for Shift Control Solenoid Valve B (for details see 96-00 service manual, pgs 14-91 to 14-92 ).

Autozone pulled codes 0753 and 0758- both codes for the solenoid.
