Default Clutch going bad?

Hi everyone!!I think my clutch is going bad because when my car is in a dead stop i can fully let go of the pedal and the car will not turn off. I believe that is due to the slipping but not really sure as I do most of my driving on highway. My gears all fall in to place just fine while im driving and i feel like they engage fine, but i find it weird that i can let go of the pedal just fine on first and reverse and the car now doesn't turn off if i dont push on the gas, which i found out while reversing by accident, not really sure how long it has been this way. Well any help would be appreciated and thanks

if your in gear and moving and hit the gas do the revs jump up and then stabilize? like do your revs jump but you dont speed up?
thats usually a good indicator.

i dont feel like that happens, like if im in second gear and i slam on the gas the rpms dont climb before my car speeds up. For the most part i think they stay the same, but like i said most of my driving is highway so not sure, but im gonna drive it around tommorow to make sure, but if the clutch wasn't to be slipping...would it be something else that would be kinda simple or not? :/

well the gears all fall in fine i thought maybe it was something that could be adjusted on the pedal or something simple like that cause the car runs just fine...its just i found it weird that i could let the clutch go completly without the car turning off like to reverse from a parking spot.

Yeah..well ill try your first suggestion tommorow and see what I get, I mean if i dump the clutch fast it'll stall but otherwise it wont and like the pressure point is the end of the pedal like closest to the driver...like when i push on the clutch most of the bottom doesn't do anything. No engaging or anything up until im almost all the way out.

Same problem with me, as far as I know, that IS the clutch going out. Again, to my knowledge
