haha wow, i'm not very smart.. thanks for the help and patience guys. i'm gonna try this probably tomorrow after it stops raining. I'll be back with an update then. Thanks

ya i just kept the hose on mine with fluid in the hose after a few pumps which left enough fluid in the line to suck back fine without sucking air in.

hopefully thats your problem and its a simple fix.
