Default Clutch R&R '90 CVIC DX

My new toy a 1990 Honda Civic DX Manual has abot 153K miles. I don't know if the clutch has ever been replaced before. It slips sometimes as I apply the clutch disc going from First to second and very occasionally from 2nd to 3rd. It's doesn't feel like it's urgent, just inevitable. I figure the years on the car plus the difference in my driving style hastens the failure.

So, I am pretty good mechanic and have pulled motors and a transmissions before, but I can't afford to screw this up.

I imagine the parts would be under $100 and I have all the tools so I think I can do it successfully.

Can someone give me an idea of the difficulty of this job?

ive posted this info up before for someone, its not hard, just remove cv axles, put jack und trans, unbolt everything form trans, even shift linkages(one from trans other from shifter) then unbolt the bolts around the trans housing and then lower jack and wiggle trans off, you may have to pry it a little, but you should be able to drop it in less than 2hrs since this is your first time, the main part is when you install the new clutch use the alignment tool to get the clutch disc straight before tightning the pressure plate bolts. if you have anymore ????? about something post a pic and ill give you details
