Considering the amount of labor charges a tranny rebuild will incur, not to mention the chance of a screw up in the reassembly, you're better off just buying a new (used) tranny.

You can get a used imported tranny for peanuts. $300 or less guaranteed... well, assuming you don't live in the Arctic circle.
