I Just bought a 1995 DEL SOL from my friend its been sitting for a couple months, when I put it in first and start to drive it make a loud like gringing noise like something is in the transmission, and the clutch wont engage in mid rpm if its at like 3500 I can shift between gears. If i push the cltch in and try and coast to a stop it stayes in gear and acts like im down shifting until i slow to like 5mph the i can feel it disengage. any ideas????

 

could be more than one problem...to me it sounds like the slave cylinder and/or pressure plate are a mess....no real way to tell untill you have it apart.
