hey guys, i recently installed a scunc 2 short shift double bend it in my car. Im not sure what direction the shift should be. Because of the dual bends, I placed the shift rod in a direction s that the shifter is closer to me n throws, about even shift. The last bend s curve is bending towards the bac of the car is this right? I tried to find a picture of it installed but could not. Its the same shifter as the one in DIY short shift install, if yu want to see the shape. Thans for any advice.

 

Yea you want it to to have the second bend secton toward the rear of opening or towards you.

 

yeah, i did try both ways and the second way lic you said is much more comfortable. I now theres a right up in here but if anybody is installing this shifter, there is an awsome specific install guide for this it on clubhonda or civic? just search it in google, thancs dx[8D]

 

i just installed my dual bend, check my gallery, its facing away, and my shifts feel awesome, even if its installed wrong i'm leaving it, i like it alot haha

 

Yours is right, just looks like your upper section is bent forwards a bit... It should come up bend towrds the rear then bend back up again.

 

Didin't I mention that in the DIY? I meant to because you can get turned around when under there.
