i have a 98 honda civic lx.....if i swap my auto tranny to a manual tranny, will i need to change out the right axle

 

you can use both axles from the auto. I believe the part numbers are the same for both the manual and automatic axles for the LX. It seems as though the EX has different part numbers for axles, but you should still be able to use your lx axles
