Default Help?

Hey, i have a kenwood headunit (50x4 Watts Peak and 22x4 RMS), 2 kenwood components in the front, and the stock rears (wat size are they? 6x9?) Ready to put in are two 12" Alpine Type-s Subwoofers which im guna run at 600 RMS total. Some of my friends told me that my lights would dim wen the bass hit, and i would need a capacitor. Should i get one, and if yes then do u have any suggestion on brand or size? im also planning on gettin another amp to power the speakers soon/
Thanks,
Shane

You should get one. I have a BRAND new Rockford Fosgate one that I've never even taken out of the box. EMail me if interested. Bought for $125.00 Will sell for $100.00 shipped. OBO.

I would go with an off-brand capacitor (unless you want it for show). You'll save about 50% in costs that way.

Definately get a cap man, I went with a RF that I got for a bit under 100 I think. Does a great job, though I can't see an offbrand doing a bad job. It all depends on if you have the cash.
