Default High Pitch Noise

i just got back my kicker 700.5 amp that i sent to the manufacture because the power pretection light went on and wouldn't turn back off... anyway, i pluged everything back up the way it was except for two wires that i got a little confused on... i think i put them on right, well anyway, i have a high pitch noise coming out the speakers, i unplugged the rca jack from the amp and it went away, plugged it back in, the high pitch noise came back... don't know what to do, never had this problem... please help

i had a kicker 650.4 and it did that, i took it to a local shop and they said the fet was blown and kicker wont give anyone the diagrams, so you are going to need to send it back to stillwater to have it serviced. it is one evil highpitched sound too right?.......when mine went it took my speakers with it, but mine sends a lil more power to the speakers.

i got like 65 for mine on ebay and i mentioned it was blown no less than 5 times on the auction, i still wonder if he got it fixed, i still watch his sales to see if he sells it i noticed he bought alot of parts that could fix it. i can tell you right now though that retail on your amp is 500+ so unless u got discounts you might just want to get it fixed, if u did it right it shouldnt be too hard to hook your speakers back up to your headunit for the time being

well i took it to my boy and he told me that i needed to change the rca plugs cause they were knock off ones but i told him they are like 6 years old, so he told me to upgrade and he's gonna put a couple of noise filters... hopefully that will take care of the problem... i called stillwater and they told me to start wit the rca plugs and to check the ground... if that doesn't work to call them back...
