Well if I'm drawing power from the fuse box then I wouldn't need to add another fuse and I think my switch works differently than that diagram because I have my neon switch hooked up like the first diagram and it works. It goes like this:

na cannt be... if thats a lite up switch... (that lights up when powered ON position) then it needs a ground signal for that lite to work... ive wired in pleanty of them.

but in your picture thier your showing power comen from the battery and fuse box.....
might i ask why?

plus just because its your fuse box doesnt mean the whole thing is fused... it has open slots and a few spade terminals that come ON and different times BUT they are not fused.... anything that is not stock needs to be fused!

can you get a actual picture of what your trying..... cause something doesnt sound right.... or your picture just threw me off with what looks like a battery on the top right side...
according to your picture you have 2 power sources powering the switch and one output.... im stumped.

The wire coming from the fuse box to the switch powers the light on the switch, the battery powers the neon.

I will take a ton of picts tommorow, maybe that will help.

Edit: wow I just bought 2 more switches that I'm not going to connect to anything but they will be there to make the console look more even, I looked at the bottom of them and it has a diagram on it and it says to hook it up the way u told my to [ground wire] and I dont have mine grounded and it will works, hows that?

i have no clue but thats messed up! it shouldnt lite up at all!
unless your conected spot on the fuse box doesnt have any power.LOL

but where ever your geting power from definatly fuse that!

but ya dont need to tap into the battery as well as fuse box... they are both power sources.... just the battery takes more wire to get to and DEFINATLY NEEDS FUSED next to the battery if you keep it that way!

gees.... your just usen alot of uneccesary wires ran thru your car.LOL

Well for that I'm talking about my underglow and all I did to it was move the switch from where the guy that I paid to install it put it. I didn't like where he had it.
