I have a 97 DX hatch, someone had an aftermarket HU intalled befoe me and they cut off the OEM 16 promg plug.
Can I use one from a 98?
I found a plug from a 98 at the junk yard and I hooked it up I do have three wires that don't go anywhere I think two are for an amp.

I wired the stock radio to the 98 16 prong plug but it still doesn't work.
