i dont know if its cuz u guys havea sixth gen, and this might sound stupid but i top off when i fill up and i get nearly 400 miles on a tank. costs me about $30 to fill my 01 civic up. i romp here and there but nothin too serious. perhaps different tank size. best of luck to you though.

dude that sucks. Like some people mentioned before, Get a CAI or a SAI w/a K&N, change your fuel filter, get new cap/rotor and bigger plug wires and new NGK spark plugs. Should help with alot and getting new cap/rotor and all that will give it more spark. I know I don't have as new of a car or motor as you but I have a 94 civic 4dr. w/the d16z6 and I can get 300 mpg in TOWN all day. and over 400mpg on highway. Possibly get a new header and exhaust open the air way up on that biatch and get even better mpg as long as you dont get in VTEC everywhere you go.

wow that is really low for a civic. yeah, only thing i can think off is: tire pressure and how you drive.

what octane do you use? if it only has 18k on it than i would check and make sure that it is the orig. motor. and the fuel filter may need replacing but i highly doubt it. try upgrading to better plugs and plug wires, i found that the new Bosh Fusions are a great plug but they run $10 a piece. I run the fusions in my 98 mustang GT and when i put them in i went from 16mpg to about 21mpg so give it a try.
