ok i posted before about the check engine light and ive figured it out. it is throwing a crank sensor code p1337. my BIG problem is, the engine is obd1. its in a oo si there is nowhere to plug it in on the oil pump. i know i could get a newer oil pump but is there a way around the code? the check engine light doesnt bother me all i need to turn it off for is to pass emissions and after that it can come on all it wants for all i care. would resetting the ecu keep it off long enough to pass emissions. any help would be greatly appreciated i hope someone on here knows. i just bought the car dont have the money for all of this work. its not even legal yet. if i cant get around it does someone have a obd2 oil pump available and a crank sensor? let me know. i read somewhere on h-t about converting to the in the dizzy cyp sensor. you may want to search there.
