98' Ex getting a B16A2
Okay so I have decided that I will for sure be swapping a B16A2, into my 98' EX coupe. So I need someone to give me a complete parts list that I will need to purchase, and what I will have to do. Oh and what generation of motor do I need. I want something that I can put in and have minimal wiring problems. Thanks in advance

No, no, no use the highest octane at the pump. Use premium! B16's are high compression!!!!!!
You are going to need a b-series engine mount kit and shift linkage for 96-00. Your also going to probably need a wire for knock and a wire secondary 02 sensor pinned into your harness. I'm not sure if anyone makes a harness. . . . I did a b16a1 swap into a 90 si and I had to wire those with a hasport harness that also included v-tec and v-tec oil pressure, but since your car is an ex you sould already have those.
For sure your also going to need a conversion harness that takes you from 0bd2 - 0bd1 for that b16a2 ecu to plug in. That's good though because tuning capabilities with obd1 are endless. You can find those on the internet everywhere.
Your also going to need some b-series axles. If I were you I'd go to a local shop and ask for some (94-00) integra axles cause a lot of the time they come with a lifetime warranty.
You are also going to need special washers for the shift linkage, and prolly some other random nuts and bolts.
goodluck

give me that dealerships number and the techs name so i can call and bitch him out. thats BS. honda dohc vtecs are all over 10:1 compression (except the oddball b17, i think its just under 10) you have to run premium. it even says so on an Si fuel door. what a tool. (the tech, not you)

Its Bill rogers honda the number is (541)-928-0122. The tech guys name was well im not sure, just bitch out the first guy that answers the phone. So If I have to run premium can you tell me what stuff can I do to my D16Y8 to get a decent amount of power? And Boosting is not an option, I dont want to boost not to mention my dad would flip a bitch.

Intake, headers, exhaust, high flow cat. Maybe a set of pulleys, but I've heard those have problems. A lightweight flywheel and LSD would be good upgrades as well. I think that's about all you could do. It won't be as fast as a b16, but you'll still be able to use 86-87 octane, as well as gain gas milage.
