Engine compatibility?

i never heard anything like 17:1 compression, but using a d15 block, zc dome pistons and a y8 head you can get like 12.5. i think that was the combo

i posted it here a while ago. i'll go look for it and if i find it i'll post it here

oh here it is:
D15B7 block (9.2:1 CR)
D16Y8 head (raises to 10.5:1 CR)
D16A3 rods (raises to 12.7:1 CR)
D16Z1 pistons (and that gives you a nut-busting 17.4:1 CR)

That is sick, Ive never heard of numbers that high on a Honda.

A D16Z6 block could do it better with it's longer stroke, no? It would at least be the same, they're both "9.2":1 stock.
