I just found this forum and I am brethaing a sigh of relief!

My 1991 Civic DX (D15A I think) is consuming oil at a fairly decent pace and I am starting to think rebuild. Since I am not a mechanic, I am wondering if I should be finding a rebuilt motor or just having the existing motor rebuilt. Can anyone comments on the pros/cons of each?
