I have a 2001 Civic LX that needs a new engine. I was wondeirng if it would be smarter to have the engine rebuilt (bad crankshaft) or swap another low mileage non-Vtec 1.7 in it?
How much do the non-Vtecs usually run with low mileage?
Also, if I was to go with a 1.7 VTEC does everything match up, or would I need different ECU's etc.
