Default help pleases.

i have a D16Y7 engine. as you know. thats not vtch. so can i put on a D16Y5 vtec head to have it. or would it be better to just keep the non vtch one. cuz either way im getting turbo. so i guess i just need to know if swapping heads would be better?

AND so if so. would i need to get a different ecu and tranny?

AND whats a good site for my engine. i can only find sites that are good for like b series.

This queston has been answered so many times. Please take he time to look around before you post something so broad like this. I dont think any of us really know a better site for your engine. Look around, you find everything you need to know about your car. We are stiving to be the best in the Civic forum industry and so far I think we are doing it.

Youd be better off swapping out the Y7 and throwing in a B16

Yes the VTEC head will be better for turbo. Yes you will need a new ecu. You will also need to remire the ecu. You should change the tranny as well but it is not a must.
