how do i know?

if im looking at buying a civic and they claim it has an engine swap how do i know which engine it is? how do i knowif its a b16 or b20 or what?

theres a little flat spot on the block to the left of the header. it will have the engine code stamped into it.

you can also tell right away if it has dual overhead cams because unless its an Si your buying the stock engine will only have a single overhead cam
