I have a 94 civic lx but with a 95 ex vtec motor that i swapped from my old coupe that got totaled... well i need to change the tranny and i wanted to know, how much longer would this engine last... it has about 170,000 miles on it i think... i've replaced almost everything on the engine (my boy works for honda so he did the job for me)... anyway, i wanted to go turbo next year when the holidays are over and what not... anyway, should i change the motor or keep it... i mean it's well maintained but don't know how much life its gonna give me... any advise...

 

i say turbo it, and if it goes, swap a b18 or somethin in there, it would probably produce the same amount of power as your d16 with F/I
