Turbo Z6 or H22 Swap??

RE: Turbo Z6 or H22 Swap??
When I started this thread I should have asked for more engine input rather than limiting it to two. Here's what I am saying now...
I have a 93 Civic Ex with a D16Z6
I am looking to spend between 3 and 5 grand for either an engine swap or a turbo kit... what are your suggestions? With Marty's post I am now looking deeper into the H22 but are there other options that would suit me? I don't want to drag race every day but when some punk teen revs on me I want to be able to blow his a$$ out of the water. If I do the H22, what suspension upgrades do you recommend? Thanks!

Both are great options. The H22 is a great motor to start with, and does give lots of power and great reliability, as it is a honda engine. However, I just think boost is fun, andI lovedit. However, I do love my gsr motor, and the H22 has more TQ than that. The H is a great bet, and so is the turbo D, but if youre looking for that much more reliability, go H.......in all honesty, after I blew my D thats kinda why I got the GSR........leave it stock, its quick, and damn reliable.

after reading everything in this thread, something comes to mind, but i may not remember correctly... but i thought if your going put the time and money into that involved of swap, i thought that the f motor was an even better option than the h???

The F series is a good option also. A F22B is a good platform, built on the same design as a H but with slightly small bore and cast liners vs the FRM's if you are planning on building. Stock all motor reliability is great though and a H22 with a supercharger is fun, reliable, torque'y, and will not set you back that much

So the H22 with a supercharger wouldn't have the turbo lag; and it would be more tq... *scratches chin* Does anyone have a good place to order engines or superchargers? I could go through the local shop but I'll get a crap ton of markup.
