Time depends on how mechanically adept you are. I can't really give you a good estimate, but it takes me a little over an hour if I buckle down. You have to pull the engine and take the clutch off, so it's not cake, but if you know your way around, you should be able to crank it out in half a day.

You have to take the whole engine out? Geez. And you can do this in an hour? Cripes.

Bang for the buck... is it worth it?

By the way, is that a picture of your car?

Eh, chock it up to experience. For the money, if you can do the install yourself, I'd say it's worth it.

And as for the pic, it'll be awhile before I own a GTR, but I will someday... preferably a Z-tune. But I'm only 19, so I have plenty of time. The closest I've come so far is an S14/RB26DETT.

do the clutch if youre in there though. and you can do it while the motors in if you pull the tranny out. i mean if you had a lift and all that, it might be easier to pull it all, but not in a garage. but its not worth the money for your HCF challenge. its not going to gain you enough performance to justify spending 3-500 bucks on a clutch and flywheel.
