Well... its not starting..

dohc zc swap in my 88 std (DPFI)

here are my symptoms..

I have ECU codes 10 and 4...

i tried switching my distributor white wires...tried switching my CPS wires...

I have spark in all four cylinders. The engine is cranking but wont start..

fuel seems to be injecting..i had a leaky injector but i got new orings all around..fixed the problem.

1988 with a dohc zc swap.

 

I don't think codes 4 and 10 would prevent the engine from starting.

Here are some potential causes for your starting problem:

1) Low fuel pressure and flow (pictures 1 and 2).

2) Engine timing way off.

3) A vacuum leak in a hose or connection (picture 3).

4) Problems with the throttle control system (pictures 4 and 5).

 

alright..thanks ron..ill try these out tomorrow see if i can get it to start..
