Check the stamp on the block (here's what to look for) and let us know what it says.
Turbo's don't "blow", but the seals can go bad, causing you to burn/leak a lot of oil.
OP, read through the stickies in the Forced Induction section. There's one there that will spell out everything you need and might want when turboing your car.

Yup, PSI is irrelevant. 10psi in a straw is a lot less air than 10psi in a 6" sewer pipe of the same length.
Actually, my estimates were low; I double-checked the Forced induction FAQ and apparently the B-series vtec engines can take about 350whp on the stock internals assuming the tune is good.
Also, turbos can leak, but they can also develop shaft play where the shaft connecting the turbine and compressor wheels becomes loose and the whole assembly has play in it. It makes quite a lot of noise when it happens
