aftermarket tach
does anyone know how to wire up an autometer tach to a 97 civic 1.6 liter with a manual tranny and no factor tach please email me some answers at sccatadriver@yahoo.com. thanks in advance

before u waste your time on something that might not make you happy.. if you want a stock tach .. that would be your best bet in my opinion.. these are plug and play.. just buy a new cluster.. EX model tach starts just below 100.. i wasted near 200 on an aftermarket tach and it was a pain to install.. then didnt read accurate anyways.. plus its bulky and usually takes drilling or cutting in ur dash etc..
i thought it was pretty easy. diff strokes diff folks i guess. I cant even see the first 5k's of my stock tach the way my seating is positioned the steering wheel perfectly covers it...this is the real reason i got the tach. I agree that Its pretty bulky, and if u install one, expect to get raced twice as much (unless you have 5% tint)
