Default Body work

Hey everyone I'm new to this site and to Honda's. Im 17 and my first car is a 1995 Honda civic EX with a D16z6 5 speed manual. i picked it up for $1600 and 166k miles, the car has no running problems but the body does have a few spots of rust and a dent in the fender. I was thinking about getting the body done after winter, i got quotes and they say its about $3500 i was thinking about doing it but that is more then i expected. is it worth it?

Thread moved to the general civic talk forum.

The question is: Is it worth it to you?

You might be able to find another car with less rust for $3500. But if you want to stick with that Civic, understand that you won't add $3500 in value to the car by putting $3500 in body work into it.
