I am not in a hurry to lose this deal. I have bought several Honda's and 2 Acura's from this dealer. My dealer said he is stumped as to why they wont build it. My question is when you folks visit dealerships are you seeing a fair number of 4 door LX's with a manual trannie?
If any supporting dealers are reading this I welcome there opinion as well.

 

I gave up. Told my dealer I would buy an automatic.

 

 

DON"T DO IT!!! , get the manual, hell if need be get an EX sedabn(if they still make those) it may be more but at leaast you have a stick instead of slushbox

My vet is an 01. I plan on selling it this summer to get a 07 next summer. Dealer was not giving me a hard time. He can find EX's with the manual but no LX's.
My wife likes the Civic so much we may sell her Acura and give her the LX. Then I will order the SI

I had a similar problem when i bought my 06 EX Sedan. The dealer and American Honda could not locate in the entire 7 state region a single EX Sedan with a Stick. They had multiple LX stick sedans, i even test drove a red one in september. However, I wanted the EX. The dealer still has not received a stick EX sedan, only coupes. I ended up getting almost $2500 off the sticker and bought the Silver EX Sedan with Auto in the showroom. I have a bad tendancy to sit in Boston traffic on my commute so in retrospect the Auto was a good option.
