as soon as you put finger prints on it or spill something on it. usually after it gets hot a few times.

oh cause mine changed to gold right after i drove it around the block right after bein installed... was that normal?

The best solution is to ditch the fart can. Have a nice muffler welded on by a shop instead. And stick with your plan to get a Magnaflow catalytic converter.

your muffler bearings are bad

this might be a dumb question but wat are muffler bearings and where are they at?

they're inside the resonator.

really hard to get to. but if they're bad they may have shifted to the inside of the catalytic converter (not good... gotta take care of that ASAP). You'll have to take your exhaust off and dump it out.
