Well, if you want power windows/locks, sunroof, a/c, and rear disc brakes, get the Si.
If you don't care, then get any 92-95 hatch

haha glad to be of help man. I dunno bout member of the year tho, I havent been a member that much longer than yourself lol

and yeah trust has a good point, the si has more convenience options and some performance options too (rear discs, etc.) over the other trims, but if you plan on building everything up anyway it doesnt matter a ton. If you need power windows and locks go Si tho or its more of a pain to convert later

Default 97 civic auto

Hi guys,i just bought a 97 civic automatic,i hear a hummimg sound in the front.I mean the car has 118,000 miles on it,could it be the bearings.And can i do it myself.If not what could be the damage $$$$.Any help will b gr8,Negi

Had a buddy with the same issue. Was his wheel bearing. I tried doing it for him, and could not get the bearing out of the car. I dont' have a press. =\
Anyways.. he went to a shop and had them do it. Cost him $200.

Kinda curious - why'd you post this on an old thread?

I'm going to guess because the thread is "General question from a new guy", and he had a general question. Personally, I'd rather see someone bump an old thread (provided the bump pertains to the thread somehow) than make a new thread.
